Kong brings decades of global legal and leadership experience across the semiconductor and technology landscape to the OmniOn Power team.
OmniOn PowerTM (OmniOn) has announced the appointment of Kevin Kong as its new General Counsel. An accomplished attorney with more than 25 years of experience in executive leadership roles at global companies listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and Shanghai Stock Exchange, Kong’s legal expertise and keen global perspective will help guide OmniOn Power through its continued growth and innovation.

Prior to joining OmniOn, Kong served as CEO advisor and fractional general counsel to U.S. semiconductor companies expanding in China and throughout Asia, advising on initial public offering strategy, geopolitics, export controls, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property (IP) matters. He also served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and General Manager at JCET Group, a publicly listed, $5 billion global semiconductor manufacturing and R&D company, and has held general counsel roles at multiple NASDAQ- and NYSE-listed companies.
In his new role at OmniOn Power, Kong will apply his expertise in company governance, capital markets, regulatory compliance, government affairs, litigation, and IP strategy to help ensure OmniOn’s successful growth across the power conversion market. Kong is a New York‑licensed attorney and holds a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University.
